Skype Session Today

Today we had a chance to connect with each other on Skype. My connection was kind of choppy. It really shows how we take high speed for granted. The discussion locked onto tagging in Delicious which was enlightening. Tagging and social networking are important parts of finding and searching for things on the internet. There is such an abundance of information on the internet that it is becoming difficult to navigate and find credential information. Dim Dim was cool, we shared Glen’s desktop screen and then shared a whiteboard screen. We all drew and shared our signatures. My lag was very slow so it looked like I was a kindergarten child writing. Very funny, but fun and worthwhile. We talked about Mind Meister and WizIQ. Glen just learned about this one. It sounds interesting and fun. If only we could try it with our students right away.

Oh well, lets eat a hot dog.
